Fibrosis - A problem that comes in many forms

Conditions such as cellulite, scars and lipedema have one thing in common - shortened and stiffened connective tissue strands under the skin.
Shortened strands pull the skin surface downwards, causing a dent on the skin surface.

To effectively treat these conditions, the connective tissue strands must be severed. This often involves cutting the strands, which also damages surrounding tissue structures such as blood vessels and nerves.

Aliform, Medace and Demcon are joining forces to solve this problem.

Supported by the European Union and the province of Limburg, the companies based in Limburg have launched the Skinergy project.

The project leverages the complementary expertise of the partners at the Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus in the field of medical devices to improve patient care, create skilled jobs, promote equal opportunities, drive innovation and strengthen collaboration in the medical sector in the southern Netherlands.

The Leaf technology

Our comprehensive solution for severing connective tissue strands

The connective tissue strands are severed, while damage to surrounding tissue structures is minimal. This reduces the risk of complications.

Furthermore, Leaf technology is portable and easy to use, making treatment safer and more accessible for both patients and doctors.
